We decided to take a break from the basement and enjoy the sunshine! We took the kids to Temple Square. We always talk about the temple with Sammy but we have never actually taken her to see one. But before our visit there we went out to Sandy to pick up my wedding ring that was being repaired. I broke a prong on it
2 years ago and haven't worn it since! So with my shiny new ring on my finger and my husband by my side I felt like a newlywed walking around Temple Square. Of course the stroller I was pushing and the 3 year old I was chasing quickly reminded me that I'm far from a newlywed!

Of course Sammy loved the temple! What Disney Princess obsessed 3 year old wouldn't!?! Who doesn't look at the SL Temple and think it looks a lot like an enchanted castle. Little does Sammy know what goes on in there feels almost magical. 7 years ago Matt and I were sealed there for time and all eternity.

Sammy also
LOVED playing in the water fountains. She is only 3..she is only 3...that's what I tell myself when she making trouble!

When I realized how many beautiful flowers were already out (of course it's temple square!) I wished I brought my nice camera instead of my point and shoot. Oh well...my kids are still cute.

With all the pictures I take and that are taken of my kids I have yet to get one that has both of them in it with smiles on their faces. We have tried for 10 months now and they usually end up like this. Sammy smiling with Conner in a choke hold.

I love the choke hold hug. Those pictures still turned out cute even if you didn't have your good camera.
I love the pictures, Elisa. They look great! You do a good job. I know what you mean about not being able to get both kids smiling and looking in the same direction at the same time while sitting next to each other. It was a nice surprise running into you guys at the temple yesterday.
Cute pictures. At least Conner wasn't crying from the choke hold. The pictures reminded me of the "fun" we had taking pictures of the three oldest a couple years ago at temple square. The picure you got of Kayden will always be one of my favorites!! Imagine trying it with all five- ha ha!!
