A Daughters Love
Tantrums are really big in our house right now. Even Conner can throw a pretty good one. But right now Sammy is the queen of all tantrums. Today she was demonstrating this fact in full force right before lunch. I decided to ignore her and just say the prayer so we could eat. She yelled out during the prayer that she wanted to say it and then began praying over me. Her tantrum instantly stopped and she said in her best 3 year old smug voice, "please bless that my mom is mean & I don't love her. I never will. Please bless that I love my Daddy. Please bless the food. Amen." She then turned to me with a big smug grin and asked if I heard what she prayed about. Some days you have to look for the little blessing...at least she ate all of her lunch & right now she is sound asleep.

Very Interesting. Hailee told me for the very first time today that she didn't love me. I thought they were supposed to be teenagers before they said that.
You know.....it's fasinating what kids come up with. Maybe she will get it all out of her system before she becomes a teenager.
I love how they always love Dad and not Mom. Dad apparently can do nothing wrong:)
That is too funny. I wonder what she will say when she is older.
I'm definitely not looking forward to that first time when Evan says something like that. It's going to break my heart. But I know it's bound to happen soon. Good thing Sammy is just so cute!
Sometimes it's a good thing they are so dang cute! When it's been a rough day, I love to watch them after they fall asleep and remind myself of the blessings they really are!
WHY WHY WHY do they always love DADDY'S more...it irritates me more than anything. I don't think they ever tell daddy's they don't like them or love them. It's just mommies...and I am on equal grounds of time with the kids as Tim...I guess we just have to remember they probably do still love us...but I doubt it most of the time! She's so cute. Atleast a prayer always can calm them down :)
